Our Iron Dome replicates the layered architecture of the air-defense battery in real life: detection, decision, and interception, all running live in-game.

Detection & Tracking

• 360° Detection Radar: Continuously scans the airspace and picks up incoming projectiles
• Real-Time Trajectory Prediction: Calculates each threat's flight path, speed, and projected impact point on the fly
• Multi-Target Tracking: Locks onto and tracks multiple incoming rockets simultaneously without losing coverage

Battle Management & Weapon Control (BMC)

• Automated Threat Assessment: Evaluates each projectile and only engages threats headed for populated or protected zones, ignoring those set to land harmlessly
• Priority Targeting Logic: Ranks incoming threats by danger level and assigns interceptors to the most urgent first
• Engagement Decision Engine: Fully autonomous fire control, with an optional manual-override operator mode

Interception

• AI Tamir-Style Interceptor Missiles: Guided interceptors that launch, adjust course mid-flight, and detonate on proximity to the target.
• Proximity Detonation: Interceptors neutralize threats via blast radius rather than requiring a pinpoint hit.
• Multiple Launch Capability: Fires multiple interceptors in quick succession to handle saturation attacks.

System & Immersion

• Modular Firing Units: Deploy multiple launch batteries across the map for overlapping coverage.
• Live Operator HUD:
• Threat readouts, interceptor count, and hit/miss statistics
• Display of all MFUs for a battery with buttons for control over each one
